Remember back in April I did a contest . People were submitting their picture and the person who had the highest number of “LIKES” (Facebook) would get an oil portrait of their submission painted on a canvas board.
The winner is Tracy. She submitted a picture of her friend Shannon who passed away in December.
When I posted the picture on Facebook so people could go and vote, family and friends start spreading the words about the contest and people were leaving comments how special Shannon was. They were saying how beautiful she was, that she was loved by so many, she had a trademark smile and her courage through her illness was amazing!!
The numbers of like was going higher and some people wrote to me asking to remove their picture from the contest. They wanted the picture of Shannon to win and were spreading the word about that picture instead of their own picture. How cool? :D
